Living a healthy lifestyle involves consistency. And that starts with creating healthy eating habits, especially habits for our junk foods. If we teach our bodies to eat healthier, we can create good habits of eating with our foods and snacks, especially sweets like candy. Because consuming too much sugar can lead to health problems such as diabetes, heart disease, and even cancer, and no one wants that.

Fortunately, there are several companies dedicated to creating candies with healthy ingredients, so you can ween off the Skittles, M&Ms, and many other high sugar brands with labels that say “Bioengineered” or “GMO” or just contain not-so-healthy ingredients on their labels.

Now, most of these brands can be found in Gourmet stores but there are available in other stores like Rite Aid, Wegmans, and Whole Foods. And if you can’t find them, just buy them directly from the company’s website.

Remember: Companies produce new products and change ingredients all the time, so it’s important to always check the ingredients when making a purchase.
