What Drives The Price Differences Of 18/10 Stainless Steel Cookware Brands?

Well, the answer is price comes from a manufacturer’s location. We found information about it in the article “Made In vs. Misen: Which Cookware and Kitchen Knives Are Better?” by Andrew Palermo.
He says “18/10 stainless steel is a food-safe surface that is rust-resistant and holds its brilliant sheen over time. The use of 403 stainless steel accommodates induction cooking, but you can also get that capability with a magnetized 18/10 stainless steel surface.”
So basically all high grade stainless steel is the same. It is only differentiated by where the product is made. For instance, it’s more costly for a product to be made in the United States, Italy, or France than it would be if it’s made in China. And it doesn’t matter much about the brand’s reputation either unless of course you experienced poor service with them or their products.
Hope that helps you narrow down what brands to buy. If you want to know more about materials used in cooking pots check out this article “How To Determine If The Aluminum In Your Kitchen Cookware Is Safe And What You Can Do"
